The discovery call
Once I get your inquiry form in my inbox, I first do a little happy dance (woohoo!) and then we get you scheduled for a discovery call. Making sure we are a match made in heaven is such a crucial part of this process. I want you to be 100% confident with me and I want to make sure our visions match. You will be spending most of your time with your photographer on your wedding day, so it’s important we mesh well and are a perfect fit!

Wedding planning can be so difficult! There can be a lot of pressure and so many moving parts. I want all my couples to ENJOY the planning process. I am truly there for you, and I have a lot of knowledge to share! Whatever questions you have or suggestions you need, just ask. From vendors to wedding day advice, I am your girl.

engagement session
After you’re in the books, it’s time for your engagement session! I recommend booking it 3-6 months before your wedding to give you time to use the photos for save-the-date or your invitation suite.

timeline call
One month before your wedding day we will get together for either an in-person meeting (I am always down to grab coffee!) or a zoom call to finalize your timeline. This is so helpful to make sure your wedding day runs smoothly and that we are on the same page. Plus I love celebrating the fact your wedding is only 30 days away! Eek!

The day we’ve been waiting for. This is when we see everything we have planned come to life! When I go to your wedding rest assured that I’m prepared and ready to capture all the memories and the in-between moments so you can look back 10 years from now and remember how everything truly felt on your wedding day.

I have been a bride before so I know the feeling of waiting for what feels like an eternity to see your images. Get excited though! Because you will get roughly 50 sneak peek images you can share with your families and friends! Your final gallery will be delivered 6-8 weeks after your wedding.

creating your heirloom album
After you received your full wedding gallery we will then set up a time to create your custom wedding album. I will create your album to showcase the beautiful story of your wedding day. Then, we will schedule an online meeting to finalize all the wedding album details and then send over the album for printing.

continued friendship
Your wedding is over but the friendship we created throughout the wedding planning will never end. I want you to know that even though your wedding is over I’m still an email or text away if you need anything. So feel free to reach out and don’t be a stranger :)

Fun Facts:
The venue has adorable cows that we were able to capture in some photos during the couple's sunset photoshoot.
It is a family-owned wedding venue that is very homey and cozy due to it's character and amazing landscaping.
I absolutely love first looks, but I fell in love with traditional ceremonies where the couple gets to see each other for the first time during the ceremony at this wedding. There was so much love and emotion from Logan, Orion and all of their family and friends.

This wedding was full of emotion! Even before the groom saw his bride he was a bucket full of tears. When he finally saw his beautiful bride to be, he absolutely lost it. Their love for each other is undeniable!

Meg & Zech
Meg & Zech are getting married next year! Their photographer is not from VA, so they asked me to photograph their engagement session. We planned the session ahead of time, but the morning of their session, it started pouring heavy rain (that’s VA weather for you LOL). We were a bit nervous it wouldn't stop on time for our session, but yet again, we got lucky that the sun started peeking out and gave us a beautiful clear weather! I might not be the one photographing their wedding, but I’m super grateful that I was able to photograph their engagement session.

Lexi & Trey’s engagement session was a bit nerve-wracking HAHA. We had been planning the session for a while and then it decided that it was going to be raining and thundering that day. Although 2 hours before the session the sun came out, 30 minutes before the session it started raining again. Luckily they were running a little late, so when we started shooting the sun came out! The weather ended up being clear enough to capture the love that this two have for each other. The best part was that their dog Tucker was also able to join the photo session, which made the entire session much more fun! I can’t wait to celebrate these two in October!
